Asian Dressings

Asian dressings are some of the most versatile sauces in this entire section. Sesame ginger works on a salad, a grain bowl, cold noodles, and as a dipping sauce for dumplings — with minor adjustments to the acid-to-oil ratio.

White miso is sweeter and milder. Red miso is more complex and umami-forward. Both work — but they are not interchangeable and the recipes account for that difference specifically.
